Overview: 4 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking & Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari

The 4 Days 3 Nights Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari Tour is an incredible Uganda wildlife adventure combining two of the country’s most famous safari experiences: mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and wildlife viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

This short Uganda safari takes you through the spectacular landscapes of southwestern Uganda, beginning from the lush Lake Victoria basin, crossing the Ankole savannah plains, and ascending into the beautiful Kigezi Highlands, often called the “Switzerland of Africa” because of their breathtaking terraced hills.

The highlight of this safari is the once-in-a-lifetime experience of trekking endangered mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, one of the oldest tropical rainforests in Africa and home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorilla population.

After the gorilla trekking adventure, the safari continues to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most diverse wildlife destination, where you will enjoy game drives, the famous Kazinga Channel boat cruise, and wildlife viewing in the Ishasha sector, known for its legendary tree-climbing lions.
