4 Days Kibale Forest & Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala/Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Your 4 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari and Chimpanzee Trekking Adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe by our professional safari driver-guide.

Drive southwest through Uganda’s beautiful countryside, passing through traditional villages, farms, and scenic landscapes before arriving at Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After checking into your lodge and enjoying lunch, you will proceed for the famous Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise.

The two-hour boat safari offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities as you cruise along the natural channel connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. Expect to see large numbers of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and many water birds along the shoreline.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Exploration

Wake up early for a cup of coffee before heading out for a morning game drive through the famous Kasenyi Plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Upon arrival, begin your exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale Forest.

Before entering the rainforest, you will receive a briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority guides about chimpanzee trekking rules and forest conservation.

The trek takes you deep into the tropical forest searching for chimpanzee communities. Kibale is home to over 1,500 chimpanzees and several other primate species.
